Dave Walsh, president and CEO, has an extensive background in auto body repair and sanding applications spanning 30 years. He received specialized training as a body repair technician and owned and operated a body shop prior to founding Style-Line Corporation Intl. Having gained valuable experience in all aspects of the trade, he became determined to develop tools that would reduce the time needed to make repairs while improving the quality of the finished work. He made his ideas realities and now holds several design and utility patents for different manual sanding tools and blocks that are used in the automotive industry.
His most recent product, Soft-Sanders™, continues with the primer and paint sanding after the Style-Styx have been used to complete the restoration of the style lines. Designed to sand almost any shape, the Soft-Sanders easily sand difficult contours in applications that extend beyond automotive to include home improvement, woodworking, and marine applications.
Style-Line Corp. International™ specializes in the design and manufacturer of hand sanding blocks that are conformable to almost any shape (Soft-Sanders™) as well as preformed contoured sanding blocks (Style-Styx™).
Product applications include automotive body repair, restoration, and custom design; drywall and home improvement; woodworking and cabinetry, and marine industry work with fiberglass and wood boat hulls and accessories.
